Look what I got!

I had a wonderful Christmas and I got many lovely Christmas presents!:) A big thank you to my family, relatives and friends <3. I can't show all of my presents but here are a few of them:

I'm so happy about these books!  I got Lauren Conrad's L.A. Candy Series from one of my best friends. I've thought many times of reading them but I never have... And when I saw the books for a good price (not to mention the delicious package) I asked my friend to buy them for me. And she did :). And I got Lauren Conrad's Beauty from my aunt and uncle. I got her book Style last Christmas and it's one of my favourite books. When I found out about Beauty I knew I had to get it! These books are a bit difficult to read because they are all in English but it's really good practise for me:).

I'm sorry it took me so long to update my blog... The reason is that I got quite a lot of money, too, and wanted to do some shopping first, so that I could show you guys something tangible, not just euros. Anyway, I bought this jumper from sale. I was half the price!!! The scarf wasn't reduced so it was pretty expensive (30€) but it was so lovely that I had to buy it. The jumper and the scarf are both from Selected.

These gorgeous earrings are from a friend, too. I love them!!! I'm going to wear them tomorrow on New Years Eve. I think they are a bit old-fashioned but only in a good way. And they are really comfortable to wear. I'm so happy about them :)!

This is a part of my godmother's present for me. I thinks it's for a foot bath but I'd rather use it in a normal bath... It would be amazing to bath surrounded by rose petals! But at least now I have a good reason to take foot baths because I don't really do that at all at the moment ;).

It's Christmas time!

 dress - Vero Moda jeans

ankle boots - Marco Tozzi

Yes it's finally holiday! We got our grades and I'm actually quite happy with them (that means I don't have to work that hard in spring time, I just need to keep my grades as they are now and it's kind of relieving to know). Me and my friends gave our Christmas presents to each other, too.
Yesterday we had my school's Christmas party. I wore the outfit on the pictures there. The outfit was festive enough but it didn't go over the top. I got really cold, though, because I had only those tights and my coat isn't very long... Anyway it's nearly Christmas and I'm so excited! I still have to buy a few gifts for my family and do the Christmas cleaning and then I'm ready for a Merry Christmas!:)

Sailing off

(The picture is taken by phone so the quality is what it is...sorry!)

Today we drove to Turku to my grandma's traditional Christmas lunch. This time we were in a restaurant called S/S Bore. It's a steamboat that has been turned into a hostel and a restaurant. The food was really good! It was traditional Finnish Christmas food such as ham, salmon, casseroles and so on...It was nice to see all of my relatives after a long time.:) Only the weather was really bad so I couldn't take pictures on board the ship. It was also my name day today so it was nice to celebrate it, too.:)

blouse - Only
ring - vintage
hair extensions - Rapunzel of Sweden

Only one week to go and then it's Christmas and I'm so excited!!! Then I don't have to stress about school or exams for a while. I wish you all happy holidays!:)

Oh Germany!

Grüβe aus Deutschland! I had an amazing time in Germany last week!:) (Even though five days were way too short a time.....) Anyway, we left at 2.30 am on Monday morning so all of us were pretty tired. Despite my tiredness I was quite scared of the flight (because I haven't travelled by plane very often) but everything went really well. And the views were breathtaking as you can see from the picture! That sunrise we saw...:)

We arrived in Berlin between nine and ten and headed straight off to see some sights eg. the Christmas market. All the smells and gifts brought such a Christmasy feeling. Luckily it's Christmas soon! After our little sightseeing came everyone's favourite part: Shopping (obviously)! We visited KaDeWe but it's was waaay too expensive for my wallet. But in the other shops prices were much lower compared to Finland. I didn't want to spend all of my money on the first day so I didn't buy anything except for a toothbrush which I (of course) left home. We came to Chemnitz around six and then went straight to our host families.

I bought these gorgeous shoes from a local shopping centre. I just love them! They are Marco Tozzi's. I've been hunting for high heeled ankle boots for such a long time and I'm so happy I finally found them.:) In Dresden I also visited Hollister's shop for the first time in my life...What a place! The shop definitely stood out (I first thought it was a restaurant).

coat - Cristelle&Co.
bag - Mango
jeans - Gina Tricot
sneakers - Converse

It was nice to get home after I had been gone so long but I will definitely go back to Germany. It's such a nice country! And the German boys dressed up much better than Finnish boys.;) Now I only have to get my German in shape!

Golden nails

I took these nails today. My friend made them for me (thanks!). It took only a little over an hour and the price wasn't bad: only 10€! I'm very happy with these. And the color is lovely! Totally bling-bling;) I chose gold because I have lots of clothes with golden details at the moment.

A suitcase? Yes. I've been packing the whole day (and I'm not quite ready yet...) because I am going to spend the next five days in.....GERMANY!:) I'm sooo excited but also REALLY nervous:/ I'm leaving tonight at 2.30 A.M., so it's going to be an early wake-up for me. First we head off to Berlin and then to Chemnitz where we will spend the week. I try to update my blog from there, if in any way possible!

Happy Father's day!

poncho - edc
jeans- KappAhl
clutch - Guess
watch- Swatch
ankle boots - Inspiré

Today we celebrated Father's day. Unfortunately it was raining almost all day...It is so frustrating when it's just raining all the time and you can't get good pictures and on top of that it gets dark really early at this time of the year...It was also really cold today so I wore my edc poncho. It's so fluffy and warm! Too bad that it tickles a bit but you get used to it after a while. I combined the poncho with my white jeans (they are torn but you can't see it in the picture...) and my brown leather ankle boots. I accessorized the outfit only with a watch and my Guess purse (I made the purse into a clutch by taking off the leash).

My favourite accessories

I've noticed that I don't wear a lot of accessories and I really don't know why...I mean they are perfect for changing any outfit into a whole new look! I guess wearing accessories is a thing I just have to learn. But I do have anfew pieces that I love and I can always count on them.:) Here they are!

My all time favourite accessory is this gorgeous ring. I bought it when I was 11. It's from a second-hand shop in my hometown so I don't know its label or origin. And the ring already broke once but thank god we could fix it. The ring is really pretty and I can wear it with clothes of almost any color because it has various colors in it. It's missing a one gem but luckily you can't really see it. And I've been thinking that maybe I could buy a new one from some handicraft shop. I love this ring!!!

Here are my three favourite pairs of earrings. I actually don't wear earrings everyday because then I always have to think do they fit my outfit. I also have to think what kind of earrings I will wear to my second piercings. And my hair is usually open so you can't even see the earrings. Anyway, the uppermost earrings are from ship (which I already mentioned on my earlier post) and they are Buckley London's. The earrings in the middle I bought from Accessorize because its colors were so so pretty. And the last earrings are from Bulgaria. My best friend visited there in summer and she brought me them as souvenir. I like them a lot, too

I got this Guess purse as a birthday gift from my dad when I was 13. The purse is amazing because even though it's pretty small you can put plenty of stuff in there. It also has pretty colors and it has nice little details in it. The leash was a bit too long for me so I asked my dad to put couple extra holes to it and now it's perfect. Love this bag!

And last but not least my perfume. I know it is not necessarily an accessory but I still decided to add it to this post. The perfume is Versace Bright crystal and I just looove the smell of it. If I'm having a bad morning and then I spray it on me the morning turns into a good one. And it also gives me a little bit of extra confidence!:) I'm pretty sure that I will use this perfume for quite long time still.

The perfect leather jacket

I am sooo happy that I finally found myself a leather jacket. And I like it A LOT! It's from a little shop in the center of my home town. I paid for it a bit more than I first planned but sometimes you just have to pay for perfection.... Even though the jacket is quite simple it's perfect for me!:)

I really like the collar of the jacket. It has just enough attitude without being too edgy for my taste. The jacket also has some other little details which you can't notice right away. But when you take a closer look you can see them.

Today I decided to add a little bit of rock'n'roll to my outfit. I'm not that big a fan of that style but I thought it would go well with my leather jacket. And besides it's fun to try something new. One of the best features of this jacket is that you can combine it with almost any outfit. And the leather is incredibly soft so it's very comfy to wear. Lovely!

Weekend in Estonia

I spent the weekend in Tallinn, Estonia. I travelled there with my mom, so it was a "girls' shopping trip". But we did many other things, too. We also visited the Tallinn International Horse Show for the third time (well, actually we were shopping almost half the day because there was a huge shopping center called Rocca al Mare next to the Saku-hall where the horse show took place...). Sunday morning we had a guided tour to the KGB museum. The museum was located on the 23rd floor, the highest in our hotel, Viru. The view from the roof was amazing! After the tour we left for the center to shop. Once again....

I bought this gorgeous necklace from Mötivi. I loved it from the very first moment I saw it. Yet I didn't buy it right away because it wasn't something I really needed. After a few hours of thinking I decided to buy the necklace because I just couldn't get it off my head. And I'm sooo glad I bought it!!!

Otherwise I didn't have such good luck with shopping...I had a looong list of things I needed but of course, as usual, I couldn't find ANYTHING from my list! I got really frustrated because I walked for hours around shops and got nothing out of it.  At the end of the day I bought a couple of shirts because I for once had money and it was burning my fingers;).

These earrings were bought from the ship. I spotted them already on our way to Tallinn but I thought they were quite expensive (25€). Yet, I couldn't deny the fact that they are really really pretty! Coming back to Helsinki I made the decision to buy them. I was still a bit unhappy with the price but the earrings are a perfect match with my gristle piercing. I just had to buy them! And after all the earrings made me really happy because they were so bling-bling;) I'm really into silvery jewels.
