 I haven't been really able to take pictures this week because the weather has been pretty lame. Although there were few really pretty days but whenever the sun was shining I was at school...But luckily I still had the pictures of this outfit. I wore it already a couple of weeks ago. Anyway, I love the combination of royal blue and gold. They are just perfect match to each other! I've been using the medallion quite a lot lately. It's actually my mom's (she got the medallion 30 years ago!) It's always nice to open the medallion e.g. during school days and see the picture of my dad as a young man in there ( I do see him everyday at home just older and less slim).
Well I go now because I still need to read over 40 pages of Kalevala (Finland's national epic) for school... Have a nice weekend everyone!:)

Uh, I've had a really stressful day...I can't get my school stuff done and I'm having LOTS of problems ordering an outfit for my birthday. Stress is not a nice feeling:(. Anyway. today I wanted to wear something casual. I wore my new jeans from H&M (colorful jeans were on my wish list and I ended up getting two pairs...) and a loose T-shirt from Selected. I also kept my make up quite simple since the colors of my outfit were down to earth. Luckily the weather was warmer today. This week it has been as low as -26 degrees here in Finland. Waaay too cold for me! But next week should be a bit better.

I still have to study a little bit to a word test so I wish you a good start to a new week!:)

I've had a quite boring week so far...just school, homework and hobbies. I started to plan my birthday party though. I'm really excited about it! I'll arrange the party with my best friend and it's coming up  in less than a month. It's good to have enough time because we have still plenty of things to do for the party, e.g. shopping for some party clothes;). I can't wait the weather to get warmer so that I can use my lovely leather jacket again. Well have fun, it'll be weekend before you know it!

This is actually my outfit from Sunday but now that school has started again I've been busy with homework an stuff... Anyway, I didn't feel very well on Sunday (and now I'm sick...) so I wanted to add some bright colors to cheer me up. I borrowed my sister's scarf. I love it's colors! The blue pants also brought nice twist to the outfit. All the colors remind me of the spring:). I can hardly wait for it to come!

Fashion desires

I decided to do a little bit different blog post this time (new year, new style kind of thing). I collected pictures of things that I'd like to buy (or get) this year. I probably won't get them all but it's nice to at least dream about them:). And I necessarily don't want these specific items they are just samples.

I would want to buy some nice pair of flat winter boots because I don't own any pair at the moment. It might be a bit late now because spring comes quite soon but maybe I buy boots still if I find nice ones.

My goal for next summer is to find pretty, leather ballerinas. Last summer I just simply couldn't find any nice pair... I really hope I have better luck this summer!

leather skirt - Polyvore

 

It would be awesome to get a leather skirt (made of real leather)! But there is a little problem...The skirts made of real leather are VERY expensive. With luck you can find a skirt for a hundred euros but not really below that. Well, at least I can always dream about it:). And hey, who knows someday I might be a happy owner of a leather skirt. (And I'm really sorry I couldn't find the exact link to the skirt anymore...)

I just LOVE the color of these jeans! It's so fresh and it reminds me of spring and summer. I'm not a big fan of pink but sometimes it can be a real power color. I will definitely buy a pair of colorful jeans for spring.

clutch - Esprit

 

It would be so nice to find a cute, little clutch. Especially in the summer a clutch could be really useful when you don't have a lot of stuff with you but they don't fit in to your pockets or you simply just don't have pockets. I want to find a clutch that is bit more everyday kind of clutch, though. (I do love the clutch in the picture and the only thing that stopped me from buying it was the price...)

This might be the most important purchase I do this year. I want to find the perfect party dress for my self because after this semester I graduate from comprehensive school and it's pretty big case. So I really hope I'll find a dress that gives me some extra self-confidence and brings out all of my best features. Luckily I still have almost five months to find that dress;).

Welcome 2013!

 

Happy New Year for everyone! My year started well and I hope yours began well, too. I had a pretty relaxing New Years Eve: I stayed home and watched some movies. Nothing special but quite nice anyway:). At midnight I went out, though, to see the firework. The weather was warm (I wore a leather jacket!) considering were are in Finland.

  You couldn't see the firework that clearly because of the weather but it was okay. I wish 2013 will be an amazing year full of happiness, success and new experiences!:)

Look what I got!

 

I had a wonderful Christmas and I got many lovely Christmas presents!:) A big thank you to my family, relatives and friends <3. I can't show all of my presents but here are a few of them:

 

 

 

 

I'm so happy about these books!  I got Lauren Conrad's L.A. Candy Series from one of my best friends. I've thought many times of reading them but I never have... And when I saw the books for a good price (not to mention the delicious package) I asked my friend to buy them for me. And she did :). And I got Lauren Conrad's Beauty from my aunt and uncle. I got her book Style last Christmas and it's one of my favourite books. When I found out about Beauty I knew I had to get it! These books are a bit difficult to read because they are all in English but it's really good practise for me:).

 



I'm sorry it took me so long to update my blog... The reason is that I got quite a lot of money, too, and wanted to do some shopping first, so that I could show you guys something tangible, not just euros. Anyway, I bought this jumper from sale. I was half the price!!! The scarf wasn't reduced so it was pretty expensive (30€) but it was so lovely that I had to buy it. The jumper and the scarf are both from Selected.

 

 

These gorgeous earrings are from a friend, too. I love them!!! I'm going to wear them tomorrow on New Years Eve. I think they are a bit old-fashioned but only in a good way. And they are really comfortable to wear. I'm so happy about them :)!

This is a part of my godmother's present for me. I thinks it's for a foot bath but I'd rather use it in a normal bath... It would be amazing to bath surrounded by rose petals! But at least now I have a good reason to take foot baths because I don't really do that at all at the moment ;).
