Look what I got!

I had a wonderful Christmas and I got many lovely Christmas presents!:) A big thank you to my family, relatives and friends <3. I can't show all of my presents but here are a few of them:

I'm so happy about these books!  I got Lauren Conrad's L.A. Candy Series from one of my best friends. I've thought many times of reading them but I never have... And when I saw the books for a good price (not to mention the delicious package) I asked my friend to buy them for me. And she did :). And I got Lauren Conrad's Beauty from my aunt and uncle. I got her book Style last Christmas and it's one of my favourite books. When I found out about Beauty I knew I had to get it! These books are a bit difficult to read because they are all in English but it's really good practise for me:).

I'm sorry it took me so long to update my blog... The reason is that I got quite a lot of money, too, and wanted to do some shopping first, so that I could show you guys something tangible, not just euros. Anyway, I bought this jumper from sale. I was half the price!!! The scarf wasn't reduced so it was pretty expensive (30€) but it was so lovely that I had to buy it. The jumper and the scarf are both from Selected.

These gorgeous earrings are from a friend, too. I love them!!! I'm going to wear them tomorrow on New Years Eve. I think they are a bit old-fashioned but only in a good way. And they are really comfortable to wear. I'm so happy about them :)!

This is a part of my godmother's present for me. I thinks it's for a foot bath but I'd rather use it in a normal bath... It would be amazing to bath surrounded by rose petals! But at least now I have a good reason to take foot baths because I don't really do that at all at the moment ;).

Yes it's finally holiday! We got our grades and I'm actually quite happy with them (that means I don't have to work that hard in spring time, I just need to keep my grades as they are now and it's kind of relieving to know). Me and my friends gave our Christmas presents to each other, too.
Yesterday we had my school's Christmas party. I wore the outfit on the pictures there. The outfit was festive enough but it didn't go over the top. I got really cold, though, because I had only those tights and my coat isn't very long... Anyway it's nearly Christmas and I'm so excited! I still have to buy a few gifts for my family and do the Christmas cleaning and then I'm ready for a Merry Christmas!:)

Sailing off

(The picture is taken by phone so the quality is what it is...sorry!)

Today we drove to Turku to my grandma's traditional Christmas lunch. This time we were in a restaurant called S/S Bore. It's a steamboat that has been turned into a hostel and a restaurant. The food was really good! It was traditional Finnish Christmas food such as ham, salmon, casseroles and so on...It was nice to see all of my relatives after a long time.:) Only the weather was really bad so I couldn't take pictures on board the ship. It was also my name day today so it was nice to celebrate it, too.:)

blouse - Only
ring - vintage
hair extensions - Rapunzel of Sweden

Only one week to go and then it's Christmas and I'm so excited!!! Then I don't have to stress about school or exams for a while. I wish you all happy holidays!:)

Oh Germany!

Grüβe aus Deutschland! I had an amazing time in Germany last week!:) (Even though five days were way too short a time.....) Anyway, we left at 2.30 am on Monday morning so all of us were pretty tired. Despite my tiredness I was quite scared of the flight (because I haven't travelled by plane very often) but everything went really well. And the views were breathtaking as you can see from the picture! That sunrise we saw...:)

We arrived in Berlin between nine and ten and headed straight off to see some sights eg. the Christmas market. All the smells and gifts brought such a Christmasy feeling. Luckily it's Christmas soon! After our little sightseeing came everyone's favourite part: Shopping (obviously)! We visited KaDeWe but it's was waaay too expensive for my wallet. But in the other shops prices were much lower compared to Finland. I didn't want to spend all of my money on the first day so I didn't buy anything except for a toothbrush which I (of course) left home. We came to Chemnitz around six and then went straight to our host families.

I bought these gorgeous shoes from a local shopping centre. I just love them! They are Marco Tozzi's. I've been hunting for high heeled ankle boots for such a long time and I'm so happy I finally found them.:) In Dresden I also visited Hollister's shop for the first time in my life...What a place! The shop definitely stood out (I first thought it was a restaurant).

coat - Cristelle&Co.
bag - Mango
jeans - Gina Tricot
sneakers - Converse

It was nice to get home after I had been gone so long but I will definitely go back to Germany. It's such a nice country! And the German boys dressed up much better than Finnish boys.;) Now I only have to get my German in shape!
