Tried to be like a real model - didn't exactly work...

I got this Just me T-shirt as a souvenir from my mom from Estonia. It's absolutely one of my favourite pieces at the moment. It's comfortable to wear and it looks great, especially with red lips;). About the weather, it was a bit chilly yesterday but as you can see the sun was shining beautifully. And today...it's sleeting...The winter is coming, no denying of that(luckily I bought a new beanie yesterday which will keep my head warm). But I have all these sunny pics cheering me up if darkness and greyness gets unbearable.

I had a super nice and relaxed day! I had "school" for only two hours and after that I went for have a coffee with my friends. I also bought the checked shirt I'm wearing in the pics. I wanted to have the exact shirt I had on my wishlist but my size was sold out so I took this green one. And I do love it! It's really soft and I like the fact that the inside of the shirt looks like denim because that gives the shirt a nice twist. On my way to the bus stop I run into my friend I haven't seen in a long time and we had a nice chat. I took a walk with my dog twice today and the weather...it was AMAZING. This could be called a perfect day!:)

My autumn's color palette: black and gray. But the combination is actually not that bad. Especially if you have nice details in your clothes like my new super soft and warm knit from Vero Moda has. And then we have accessories: you can change an outfit into a whole different one with them. I chose these earrings to the outfit because they have the exact same colors as my clothes. This time my mood in the pictures than usually: I'm not smiling. That's simply because I was very irritated yesterday when we took these pics and I didn't feel like smiling. I wanted to use the pictures anyway because mom had the nerves to shoot me despite my bitchy attitude. On the other hand maybe unsmiling fits to this "dark" theme.

One more summer day

I'm already missing sun and warm weather even if these pics were taken only a week ago. My outfit isn't very summery but my mom was wearing a summer dress last Saturday so the weather really was great! But there were already colorful leaves on the ground so I could sense the fall on it's way (and of course i knew it because it was the 14th of September...). This kind of weather isn't common in Finland at this time of the year and I should be thankful that we got to enjoy summery weather extra long this year. Anyway, I can't help feeling a bit depressed now that the weather has got colder, greyer and darker. Positive aspect: you get to wear comfy knits and big warm scarfs. At the end fall is not such a bad thing: the trees are colorful, the ground is full of leaves and the morning air is super fresh. So, enough of wining for no reason;).

 Here are the pictures from the event I promise to tell you about. So, I travelled to Helsinki to the embassy of Germany. Last spring I took part in a language exam, Deutsches Sprachdiplom and I passed it. The exam is meant to be taken in the first year of upper secondary school (where I am at the moment) but I took it in 9th grade. This was the first part of the exam and after you pass the second part you are allowed to study e.g. at German universities. I'm planning to take the second part in two years' time. Anyway, I attended with my friend (her name is also Aada just with two A:s). The occasion was pretty short: there were two speeches, one boy played piano and then the certificates were given to us. After the official part we ate and drank a bit and wandered outside admiring the amazing place the embassy was located at. We returned to the city center for some shopping before taking the train back home. I was totally underdressed (awkward) but we didn't get any instructions about what to wear and because I was at school for a couple of hours I didn't feel like dressing up fancy clothes (of course I tried to pick up clothes that would be tidy). At least the snake printed pants (which I found for 13 € from a sale rack) were a bit more special.

Today I'm heading back to Helsinki and this time I will attend my language course's Reunion party. Can't wait to see my friends again!
